Kimberly Diaz’s calling began at her grandparents’ kitchen table, where she witnessed the devotion, strain, and love that come with dementia and end-of-life care. For more than 27 years, she has served families as a nurse, hospice director, dementia consultant, geriatric care manager, death doula, author, and advocate. Through founding Care Matters, Care Matters Registry, and Caring Minds Dementia Consulting and Training, she has built a mission-driven model that connects families with trusted care partners, practical education, and compassionate guidance—so no one has to navigate aging, dementia, or loss alone.
